At Cut It Forward, our mission is clear: To provide culturally specific hair and skin care resources for foster and adopted children of color and their caregivers through our various programs. We recognize the challenges that many children of color face when entering foster and adoptive care, with their culturally specific hair and skin care needs often unmet or misunderstood. This can result in a disconnection from their culture. We firmly believe that every child entering care, and every caregiver opening up their home, deserves support in addressing these unique needs. Through our various programs, we are committed to empowering these families.
